Winners of Smart Minds, Online Spelling Bee Competition, 2021
iyiolastringsYspot Brand has been organizing the Smarts Minds event for over 6 years. Last year due to the pandemic it was done online, and it was a different experience, totally different from the previous years. This year 2021, the Spelling Bee was done virtually for the 2nd time.
The Smart Minds Online Spelling Bee, 2021 took place on the 19th of June, 2021 in collaboration with organizations from four (4) African Countries; The Smiling Faces International, Liberia, Children Assurance Program, Sierra Leone and Catch Them Young, Gambia. Of the 25 participants who were selected, 21 pupils in grade 4-6 across the West African region participated.
Participants received a certificate of participation, the 2nd runner up received $40, the first runner up received a sum of $60 and the winner received a total of $100.

- First Runner Up: Tishino Thomas
- Second Runner Up: Daniela Buzu Lapenta
All the participants did exceptionally well, and we will like to appreciate their parents for getting the wards prepared for the spelling bee.
